报告人简介：雷蒙德·杨，现任西交利物浦大学国际商学院教授。杨教授是项目治理和项目效益管理领域的国际知名专家，他受国际项目管理协会(IPMA)委托，担任关于项目、计划和投资组合管理最佳实践案例研究期刊的主编。杨教授的职业生涯包括了工业界、咨询业和学术界等诸多领域。他拥有十年的管理咨询经验，并曾在在富士通澳大利亚公司担任高级管理职务。
雷蒙德·杨博士是澳大利亚项目管理研究所(FAIPM)和澳大利亚治理研究所(FGIA)的研究员，他也是制定澳大利亚和国际治理标准AS8016和ISO38500的委员会的创始成员。

Introduction of reporter：Dr Raymond Young，professor in the International Business School Suzhou at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Dr Raymond Young is a world leader in project governance and project benefits management. He has been commissioned by the International Project Management Association (IPMA) to be the lead editor of a book of case studies of best practice in project, program and portfolio management. Dr Young’s career alternates between industry, consulting, and academia.He has a decade of management consulting experience culminating in a senior management role within Fujitsu Australia.Dr Young is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Project Management (FAIPM) and a fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia (FGIA). He is a founding member of the committee that developed the Australian and international governance standards AS8016 and ISO38500.
Content：Dr Raymond Young will illustrate how it is possible to have a successful academic career by focusing on issues that are relevant to practice and society. He will also give some helpful tips on how best to understand the research process.
